UDON Etagere

FRENCH FOR THE ADVANCED

So who invented it? The French, of course. BacK during the baroque period, ètagerés were considered indispensable decorations at the court of the French nobility. The profane translation of the term - namely shelf or frame - doesn’t even do justice to this work of art. With this breathtakingly beautiful interpretation, designer Boris Pickenhagen has sent the display of fruits, canapés, pastries or pralines into the new millennium. Its acacia wood support harmonizes perfectly with the organically shaped bowls made of highly polished stainless steel. The ring for carrying, crowning the whole works, also fulfills the practical aspects at the same time. Oh, mon Dieu!
